TRAIN OF THOUGHT

ABOUT US

The Muzineum is a project that has had several iterations, some by the name Muzineum  some by other names, but the core of the project has always been collaboration.  In this version of the Muzineum (and thanks to a grant from the Knight Foundation and 8 80 Cities) the heart of it is in Community Curators.

The Muzineum values experimentation, organic growth, honoring cycles of productivity and rest and, above all, the lived experiences of our community.

THE PICK
OF THE MONTH

The inaugural zine for the Muzineum is a collaborative zine born out of the pandemic.  We've had almost a whole year of quarantining and a lot of us have become intimately aware of our surroundings.  I asked the contributors of this zine to make still lifes out of what surrounds them and a piece of writing to accompany it.  The contributors are Anonymous, Tiffany Duncan, Hannah Moles and Paisley Rose, all Lexingtonians.

This zine is 24 pages, full color, 8.5 inches x 5.5 inches printed on 70lb. satin text paper and 100lb. satin text paper cover with staple binding.  Edition of 50.

70% of the proceeds go to the creators and 30% goes back to support the Muzineum.
